Speculative position limit
What does speculative position limit mean?
On certain markets we impose position limits that define the maximum aggregate position a member can hold under one asset class and instrument type. Speculative position limits are established to ensure that no individual trader, firm, or group of traders can exert outsized or unfair influence on markets.
You can see the specific position limits of each contract listed here.
More information on speculative position limits is available in our Nadex Rulebook.
